In a world that often feels like a never-ending sprint, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters in life. Sometimes we live so fast that we forget the simple truth: life is a journey, not a destination. Titik Koma understands the significance of this journey, and it’s our mission to make it as enriching as possible.

Our Journey

02

We started in a 30-seat café in Surabaya with a clear purpose: to make great specialty espresso drinks accessible. Inspired by Melbourne’s coffee culture, our early menu focused on carefully selected single-origin espresso and filter coffee for people who care about craft. Most days, you would find us behind the bar, pulling shots, learning names, and fixing small details that mattered.

"Kopi Susu Gula Aren" became the heartbeat of Indonesia’s coffee scene. We saw a chance to connect specialty coffee with our own traditions. We took our time, tasting and tweaking until the iced palm-sugar milk coffee felt right. We worked from farm to cup with growers who shared our standards.

After months of tasting and refining, we were ready to share it with more people. We chose to grow with partners who shared our standards. Over time, that became our franchise model — built on trust, craft, and consistency. Our first franchise store opened in Surabaya in August 2019. It was five of us in a small office, doing a bit of everything.

The pandemic forced our dine-ins to close, and some stores didn’t make it through. But our customers kept ordering Titik Koma online, and that kept us alive. Slowly, we recovered and reached 35 stores across Indonesia.

After years of growing and learning, it was time to redefine who we are. We refreshed our logo and brand identity to reflect what matters most to us: consistency, craft, and care. It was more than a design change — it was a reminder of how far we’ve come, and how much further we want to go.

Titik Koma has grown to 43 stores, each with its own story and community. As we approach our tenth year, we’re grateful for how far we’ve come — and excited to see where this journey will take us next.
